Pop-Over Pizza... Family Tested, Family Approved!
Pop-over pizza is a very quick to prepare and very quickly gobbled up!
Tips:
- Even quicker to prepare when you use Your Friend in the Freezer (browned ground beef).
- Even quicker-quicker when you use leftover spaghetti sauce. Just mix in 1/2 Cup of Mozza Cheese and you're done!
1/2 lb Ground Beef
1 Small Onion, diced
1 213mL can Pizza Sauce
1/2 Cup Mushrooms, sliced
1/2 Cup Green Pepper, chopped
1/2 Cup Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
Crust:
2 Egg Whites
1/2 Cup Milk
1/2 Cup Flour
1/4 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Dried Basil
1/4 tsp Dried Oregano
Brown the beef in a skillet.
Add onion, mushrooms, green pepper, sauce and cheese. Heat until cheese is melted.
Pour into an 8x8 pan and spread out evenly.
In a bowl, combine crust ingredients thoroughly. Pour over the meat mixture, spreading to cover evenly.
Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes or unti crust is a nice golden brown.
Serve with salad. Serves 4 easily.
