Shipwreck Dinner...
Family Tested, Family Approved!

I think everyone has a version of Shipwreck Dinner in their recipe box, this one is mine. Use any leftover veggie you have, the more the merrier!

Tip: To cut down on prep time, brown ground beef before hand and freeze meal-sized portions. Then simply thaw when needed!

1 lb. hamburger (or any other ground meat you wish)
1 small onion, chopped
1 cup mushrooms, sliced
½ cup peas
1 clove of garlic, minced
½ tsp. basil
¼ tsp. pepper
1 box Kraft Dinner
1-28 oz can diced tomatoes
1 cup milk
1 cup mozzarella cheese (or any kind you like), shredded

In a large saucepan cook hamburger until no pink remains.

Stir in onion, mushrooms, garlic, peas, basil, and pepper and continue to cook until onion is transparent.

Stir in full contents of Kraft Dinner including sauce mix, tomatoes and milk.

Simmer until liquid is absorbed and pasta is cooked (about 10 minutes).

Sever into bowls and sprinkle a bit of shredded cheese over top.
